In the images that are part of the “Absenscapes” series, there is a refusal of an idea of spatiality and temporality. In the abstraction of a time and a space, the representation that is fixed on the silver of the photographic paper is a cartography of absent, vague places, strangely close or familiarly far away, places without memory or identity where prevails the uncertainty and the ambiguityof scale , borders and limits.

[PT] Nas imagens que compõem a série “Absenscapes”, há como que a recusa de uma
ideia de espacialidade e temporalidade. Na abstracção de um tempo e um espaço, a representação  que se fixa sobre a prata do papel fotográfico é uma cartografia de lugares ausentes, vagos, estranhamente próximos ou familiarmente longínquos, lugares sem memória ou identidade onde prevalece a incerteza e a indefinição de escala, fronteiras e  limites.
